Limited Edition - The Nonuplets Series - T.V.
The Nonuplets are nine characters with identical looks but very different personalities. Each Nonuplet represents a different aspect or archetype of not only my personality, but of humans in general. If you look amongst each painting in the series you will see their personalities show up in how they choose to interact with the subjects and each other.
The Thinker likes to observe, contemplate, learn new things, and broaden their perspective/knowledge.
The Shy One wants to participate in the activities but can’t seem to bring themselves to come out in the open.
The Loner doesn’t want to participate but knows they are still a part of this group so they will find the furthest, darkest, most quiet corner to just be alone. That’s how they participate.
The Go-Getter is fearless and has to be in the middle of the action - often indulging, making a mess, and just living life to the fullest…though they aren’t always the most considerate person.
The Adventurous Ones are two Nonuplets that love to go on adventures together. They rely on their team work and support system to reach new heights, explore, and find innovative ways to utilize their environments.
The Practical Ones are two Nonuplets that love the safety and security of each other and of living their practical lives. They like to do what is expected of them within each environment, they will not stray from fulfilling the intended purpose/mission of an object’s use, and will do their best to avoid risky behavior.
The Sleepy One is just reeeeeally sleepy. They can’t seem to sleep enough and will never stop themselves from giving into this most precious activity. They put sleep and rest above all socializing, adventures, and indulgences. There is nothing worth disturbing their peace, and nothing they want more than a good nap.
This series was originally made in 2017 and was done with watercolor and ink.
The original signatures will be included in the prints, but all prints will also be signed, dated, and numbered with the current year on the back.
